HOW TO PARTICIPATE
High school administration will be permitted to begin awarding/distributing Ken Garff Keys to Success Cards in September to eligible students (see below). Schools should give out between 60 and 80 Key Cards per month through the months of September to May. All Key Cards must be awarded prior to the 50 finalists drawing. Decisions with respect to Key Cards made by high school administration are final and binding. Similarly, decisions made by the Ken Garff Automotive Group with respect to prizes awarded in connection with the Ken Garff Keys to Success contest are final and binding. High school administration is responsible for and has full discretionary power concerning the Key Card distribution. High school administration may, at any time, disqualify a student and remove them from the Ken Garff Keys to Success contest.
Each Key Card winner will also have the opportunity to select a prize through the Ken Garff Keys to Success website: www.KenGarff.com/Keys. Each Key Card will include a code that will give the Key Card holder access to choose from a variety of prizes. Each Key Card is valid for 30 days after activation for one selection from the Ken Garff Keys to Success website. Selection of prizes on the Ken Garff Keys to Success website is expressly subject to availability.
Upon selection of their qualifying prize, Key Card holders will be able to print a confirmation code that will act as their receipt for prize redemption. The vouchers/certificates will be mailed directly to the student’s mailing address. If the student submits inaccurate information, therefore causing their tickets or certificates to not reach their destination in a timely manner, the school, the student, and the student’s parents cannot hold Ken Garff Automotive Group liable. Tickets will not be replaced as tickets are limited and donation based.
During the last months of the program each participating high school will conduct an elimination round wherein 50 Key Card holders will be selected to proceed to the next round of the Ken Garff Keys to Success contest (i.e., the assembly prize giveaway). The process in which participating high schools reduce the number of contest participants will be random and will be done in the presence of a minimum of 2 witnesses. Elimination process will not include voting or debate. School administration has final say on finalists.
