MEGAN OBRIEN - SENIOR
Megan earned a Key Card for making the world a better and safer place for everyone. She petitioned to have the "Good Samaritan Law" enacted at Juan Diego Catholic High School to eliminate hazing. Inspired to make a change by a recent fraternity tragedy, Megan wrote the petition to make a difference. Mrs. Shelkey, an administrator, reports, "Everyone at Juan Diego is truly proud of Megan for pursuing her passion with something that has touched her heart." Smart and athletic, Megan is on the Lacrosse team, and lettered in Tennis. Megan tells us about her favorite teacher: "I like Ms. Garrison because she helped me with the petition, and she inspires everyone to be better in her class." Ms. Garrison teaches TV production, and Megan would love to be a producer someday. Megan earned a free meal at Chick-Fil-A as her prize, a favorite selection at Juan Diego High School. Good luck Megan, see you in Hollywood!
